• Account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. When you sign up with email, we collect your email address.
• YouTube URLs — any YouTube links you submit to be summarised.

3.2 Information We Generate

• Video summaries — TL;DR summaries and key points generated by our AI system based on the YouTube video you submitted.
• Usage data — the number of summaries you have used in a session or billing period.

3.3 Information Collected Automatically

• Performance logs — including request timestamps, processing times, and error messages. These are used to monitor and improve the Service.
• Device signals — a lightweight browser fingerprint (screen resolution, timezone, browser language, and user agent) used solely to prevent abuse of our free tier. This is not used for advertising or tracking across other websites.
• Anonymous usage — if you use the Service without signing in, we store your usage count in your browser's local storage. We do not link this to your identity.

3.4 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect payment card details directly. Payments are processed by Stripe, which has its own privacy policy.
• We do not collect raw YouTube video transcripts permanently. Transcripts are processed in memory to generate summaries and are not stored.
• We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.

When you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

We use browser local storage (not traditional cookies) to:

• Remember your usage count if you are not signed in
• Store your session information if you are signed in via Google OAuth

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
